In reality, I would rather have just one home line, but the Secondary Home line does not have all of the features I would want for the price I would want. The Primary Home line will give me the features that I am looking for at half the price of the Secondary Home line. With that said, this line will be SIP-1 on my WP825. SIP-2 will be an extension for the Secondary Home. There are some advantages that the Secondary Home line offers that would make that carrier an advantage for a select few services, but unfortunately, the price is just a lot of money to also function as an only phone line.
The Primary Home line will have unlimited incoming calls, and unlimited outgoing calls to any NANP telephone number, as well as select other countries. One of the features is SPAM Call Blocking which will be useful until I get the number added to the US Do Not Call List. The service will also be able to send voicemail messages as email which is good if I want to keep any particular messages. There is also an iOS app which will allow me to interact with my home phone on my cellular phone. I will not install the app if there is no way to turn off the ringer when I get an incoming call. In addition, they offer international incoming numbers which will allow those people to call a domestic number, and will ring my Home line. If the price is good, then this could reduce my dependance on the Secondary Home line.
