I will keep my 855 number, and it is set to forward any call to both my home phone, and cellular phone. I can then choose which number to answer from depending on which phone is closest to me. I normally have have my phone in my pocket, so I will have to walk to the phones, and pick one to answer from. If I don’t answer the phone, then the telephony server will pick up the call, and send it to my voicemail forwarder. If an Alaskan number called me, then the call will be about 25ยข per minute, and I will assume the number of minutes will be 3-4 which could be as much as $1.00 pr of the call
Since I have to make a decision on which phone will intercept for voicemail, I decided on my home phone. If I am not home, I will just check my phone calls when I answer. If I had PCS1.ws, then I wouldn’t even need a telephony server. Also, all phone numbers in my account will use the same voicemail number which again will not require the telephony server to do this.
