412 is recognized as the area code for Allegheny County. This is pretty contained, and this makes sense to have the number being my Home phone line. This is because my 878 number will be the Cellular phone. This process will take a week for everything to work, and transfer. The advantage of this is people still calling the 412 number will likely reach me still as I am usually home. When I am not home, the telephony server will collect the voicemail.
For my specification, I will move the 412 number to my home phone line, and transfer the 878 from the previous owner to my cellular phone. This will mean the 412 number will be exclusively for the home phone line. This will allow people who are stubborn about the changes a means to still reach me, and the 412 number is the whole point of having the Ideal Phone Setup. Obviously, RCS? and SMS? messages will not be received.
