412 is intended exclusively for Allegheny County. With that said, it might make logistical sense to use my 412 for my home phone considering it is so limited in default scope. It would make sense that this will be a telephone number I would want to acquire. This telephone number will ring to the main box of my SIP provider just as the current home phone is working. Once the 412 number ports to the SIP provider, I will delete the current home phone number – therefore saving money. As for voicemails, I will see a notification light on the WP825.
As mentioned in the SIP page, the service will offer unlimited domestic calling. This not only includes my 724 number, but my 412 number as well. The unlimited domestic calling will allow me to use the Home phone line when home. This will make sense for people to add my Cellular, and Home numbers in their contacts for my entry. This will simplify things, and make things more streamlined.
