My current 855 number will be my voicemail. 855 numbers are considered as local to the caller no matter where in the NANP they call from. However, I will be responsible for any incoming rates. This is based on the “Area Code”. A 202 number will be 2¢ per minute whereas a 907 number is 25¢ per minute. I will accept all calls, but obviously, you would want to keep your voicemail message reasonable in length. The SIP provider will allow me to access my voicemail through their web panel.
