There are some features that would be missing from the Primary Home that this service will offer. This will include call treatments to where I can decide how my service behaves when I receive an incoming call. For example, I could setup a rule where all numbers in my SPAM contact will go straight to voicemail. Another option is a straight to voicemail line. I also have smart forwarding too. All of these features will be valuable. The only thing I am not happy about is the fact of the cost for unlimited calling.
With that said, there will be 3 numbers instead of 1. My Fax, Forwarder, and Voicemail lines will be handled by this service. To assure that I have minutes to send any faxes, I will acquire a 120 minute plan. This is because this would be the only reason I will make an outgoing POTS (Plain Ordinary Telephone Service) call. This line will be my SIP-2 line on my WP825, and will support incoming calls from SIP Broker, or anyone able to connect to my SIP account. I will not be making calls through the Secondary Home line.
