There might be a couple reasons of why I would want other numbers. While I do have a number outside of SW Pennsylvania, I am trying to keep things as simple for the caller as possible while still making my life a bit easier. And while some people may feel that 4 telephone numbers is too many, each number serves a purpose, and a role. Still, there maybe other reasons to have other numbers. The numbers I will have that would be important to me will serve multiple roles, and meet all of my needs to reduce the number of other telephone numbers.
I might decide I would want an international telephone number. For example, I currently have a United Kingdom (+44) number. They have a different numbering scheme than in the US. With that said, I would likely not get a same number as the ones listed here. With that said, the UK number is a secondary number that will ring the home phone.
I will have a family number which will ring a second Wifi Phone. This phone will be used when there is something important related to the family or residence. In example, if I was to foster children, and the doctor needs to call regarding the child, then they will likely call this number. If I decide that a family member should have their own home telephone number, I will then acquire a number, and assign them to a new Wifi phone. Options for a lower cost Wifi phone will be the Grandstream WP815.
