SIP

This line supports 3 of the telephone numbers that I would have. It will also be the carrier that would support my SIP address, and my SIP Broker number. While this number is important, it isn’t cheap. A SIP provider that does not provide a SIP address is about half the of the cost which will explain why I would need two different services for my home phone lines. The service will provide for my Fax, Forwarding, and Voicemail numbers. The numbers will explain in the roles as below.

The Fax line will be able to have free incoming minutes, and the service provider will collect the fax, and convert it to .pdf before emailing the .pdf file. Outgoing faxes will do 2 pages per minute based on a 14.4kbps telephone line. Outgoing faxes will cost from the pool of the funds that I will need to have. My Forwarding will cost anytime an incoming call is answered. If my WP825 phone answer the forwarding call, then just the incoming call rates will apply. If the SIM-1 line answers the call, then an extra 2ยข will be added to the cost of the call. No matter what, I must have money in a deposit pool for me to receive toll-free calls. The Voicemail number will be just that – voicemail.

Any incoming calls to my SIP Address, SIP Broker, Forwarding, or Voicemail numbers reaches the voicemail service, the caller will hear “You’ve reach Frank Pilone, leave a message“. This is intended to be simple, and straightforward. I would assume that the caller has more important things to do than to listen to a long voicemail greeting.
